We are Matt and Bella, the team behind Holland Studio, a boutique wedding photography and videography studio based on The Gold Coast capturing love stories across QLD, NSW and beyond. With a shared passion for film and photography and a love for documenting real life as it unfolds, we bring an adventurous and thoughtful approach to everything we do.
Our style is elevated, natural, and timeless. We blend editorial direction with candid, in between moments to create imagery that feels both refined and deeply real. Alongside photography, we create films designed to be returned to again and again, pieces that hold the feeling of your day long after it has passed.
While our style and colour approach remains consistent from wedding to wedding, our experience is always tailored to you. Every couple is different. Some want more direction throughout the day, others prefer gentle guidance or a mostly hands-off approach. Some are drawn to a more editorial, posed feel, while others want the day captured candidly as it naturally unfolds. We adapt to what feels right for you, working with you to create your dream wedding photos and videos.
At the end of the day, we are there to document what is happening in front of us. The photos and videos are a reflection of your day, your connection, and everything that makes it uniquely yours.

ABOUT HOLLAND STUDIO
Hi, we are Matt and Bella. Welcome to Holland Studio! We’ve been together for over 11 years, and just recently got married ourselves! We were both born and raised on the Gold Coast and absolutely love to travel. Our interests (beside photography and film!) include spending our days in the ocean, cosy afternoon storms, watching every Oscar-nominated movie, NZ road trips and of course going out to cafes and restaurants - specifically Italian! We also have a tiny little love - our eternal rag doll kitten named Marlowe.
Matt has been surrounded by film and photography his entire life, learning through his dad who has photographed the likes of the Olympics, Wimbledon and Formula 1 around the world for 30 years. Matt completed a Bachelor of Film and TV at Bond University which taught him not only all the technical knowledge he has today but ignited his creative flare for film. Matt shot his first wedding at 17 years old and never looked back! His love of storytelling drives him to capture all the memorable moments that come together to build the unique narrative of your wedding day. He loves the way no two weddings are the same—No matter whether it’s a venue he’s shot dozens of times, there’s always a one-of-a-kind element. The people, the culture, the food, the lighting, the flowers…. Every little detail that makes your special day what it is, is worth capturing!
Bella started photographing her travels as a hobby while studying marketing at Bond University. Taking every opportunity to learn and absorb all the information Matt and his dad had to offer, she soon knew she wanted to take photos and videos full time. The last few years she has found a love for capturing all things weddings. Her favourite thing about them is the happiness they bring out in people. The cocktail hour, for example, is such a special, relaxed time when all your favourite people are gathered around, sharing delicious canapés and drinks—laughing, cheering, smiling—truly bonded by the magic of the day.
Photography and videography is one of the only tangible memories you will hold from your wedding day and we feel so lucky we are trusted to capture these for you. We look forward to hearing all about your wedding plans x
